Questions
Frequently asked questions
If your question is not here, ask it in the audit form - we answer every one personally.
How much does a website redesign cost?
A redesign starts at $1,200 and a new site built from scratch runs $3,000 to $6,000, depending on how many pages you need, how much content work is involved and what has to be integrated. Complex sites are quoted individually. Every price is published on this site, and you get a fixed fee in writing after the free audit, so you know the number before you commit to anything.
How long does a website redesign take?
One to two weeks is typical for a redesign, once I have your content and account access. The schedule is written down at kickoff and you get staging links throughout, so you can see progress rather than wait for a reveal. Slow feedback is the single most common cause of delay.
Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?
Not when the migration is handled properly. I crawl the existing site, map every URL, write and test 301 redirects on staging, preserve the title and heading structure of pages that already rank, and watch Search Console after launch. I cannot promise where you will rank - nobody can - but losing what you already have is a preventable mistake, and preventing it is part of the work.
Do I need a redesign or a completely new website?
If the structure and content are sound and the problem is age, speed and mobile experience, a redesign is faster and cheaper. If the site cannot support the pages you need, sits on a platform you cannot leave, or was never built for search, a new build costs less than repeatedly patching the old one. The audit tells you which situation you are in.
Do you work with businesses outside my state?
We work remotely with clients across all fifty states and every U.S. time zone, plus Canada, the UK, Australia and Europe. Video calls, shared staging links and written weekly updates replace being in the same room.
What platform will my site be built on?
Next.js and TypeScript for the site itself, with a headless CMS so your team can edit content safely. If you need to stay on WordPress or Shopify for business reasons, we work there too - we will tell you honestly which is the better fit for your case.
